TRAINING REQUESTS & INQUIRIES

Training - All Levels Welcome Including Difficult Cases
At King’s Symbol Farm our training program focuses on building a solid foundation for all riding disciplines, which includes ring work, open field work and trails. We work on desensitizing and exposing to all kinds elements that will make your horse more calm and accepting of new environments.
Whether you are showing or trail riding it is important that your horse be confident with his/her surroundings. We specializing in correcting undesirable behavior such as bucking and rearing. Insecure or inexperienced horses will learn to ride off independently and confidently.
We start young horses under saddle no matter the age or experience. We have and still do work with some of the most difficult cases ie, tough mares, stallions, wild mustangs, etc. We will not turn a horse away.
Walk, trot, canter, manners are mandatory AND essential for any discipline of riding whether English or Western. These basic skills carry on to all disciplines, see pictures. The first two are of a graduate our program ridden by Kurt Martin. Rumour came to King's Symbol Farm for initial training and then moved directly to a more specific discipline.
About the trainer: Shane is described as a strong rider with finesse, exceptional balance and a broad understanding of horses. It is of these skills/knowledge that have allowed him to become the rider he is whereby some have said that his style is very similar to dressage. He also understands that horsemanship is a "relationship" between horse and rider. Shane is a current member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association since 1989.
